2 New routes announced by Wizz Air in Armenia

Wizz Air annouced about 2 new direct routes from Yerevan: to Eindhoven and Charleroi

The Hungarian low-cost carrier will launch direct flights from Zvartnots to Eindhoven and Charleroi, and is set to base its third aircraft in Armenia in October 2026.

Wizz Air has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Armenia, unveiling two new direct routes from Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport — one to Eindhoven in the Netherlands and another to Charleroi in Belgium. The announcement was made on March 27 at a press conference held at the airport, where Ian Malin, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air, outlined the airline’s growth plans in the country.

The new routes mark a fresh chapter for Armenian aviation connectivity with Western Europe, adding two more countries to the list of destinations reachable non-stop from Yerevan. Alongside the route launches, Wizz Air confirmed it will station its third aircraft at Zvartnots this October — a clear signal of long-term commitment to the Armenian market.
